Third-party EMI inspections
As part of the pipe reclamation process, May Pipe provides third-party EMI inspections to ensure safety, accuracy, and transparency. Third-party inspections are not required, but we believe they ensure that our work is above board. First, when repairing your pipe, the team at May Pipe will do a Visual Thread Inspection (VTI). We’ll check for thread galling, cracks, pits, signs of over-torquing, and more. We work with the most qualified and affordable inspectors to ensure the job is done right the first time.
The EMI will check the pipe for:
- Defects
- Weak spots
- Inspect the tubing interior
- Corrosion
- And more
